These Terms govern your use of haircure.org. By visiting or using the site you agree to them. If you don't agree, don't use the site.

1. What Haircure is, and what it isn't

Haircure is an editorial publication about hair loss research. We summarise peer-reviewed studies, describe clinical trial results, and provide opinion pieces. We are not a medical service.

Nothing on this site is medical advice. Talk to a qualified dermatologist or physician before starting, stopping, or changing any treatment. Decisions about your health should not be based solely on what you read here.

2. Your account

Accounts are free. You must be 16 or older to register. You agree to:

  • Provide an accurate email address.
  • Keep your password confidential and use a unique password.
  • Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.
  • Not use someone else's account or pretend to be someone you aren't.

You can delete your account at any time by emailing privacy@haircure.org.

3. Comments and user content

You may post comments on articles. By doing so you agree:

  • Not to post anything illegal, threatening, harassing, defamatory, sexually explicit, or hateful.
  • Not to share medical advice, prescription drug recommendations, or claims that could mislead other readers.
  • Not to promote products, services, or scams.
  • That you own (or have permission to share) anything you post.
  • That we may remove any comment for any reason, without notice.

You retain copyright in your comments. By posting, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display them on the site and in associated feeds.

5. Third-party content

We link to research papers, clinical trial registries, and external resources. We are not responsible for the content of sites we link to, nor for changes those sites may make after we link.

6. Advertising

The site shows advertising via Google AdSense to support its operation. We do not control which specific ads appear, and an ad appearing on the site is not an endorsement of the advertiser.

7. Disclaimers

The site is provided “as is”. We make reasonable efforts to keep information accurate and up to date, but research changes constantly and we cannot guarantee that any article reflects the very latest evidence. We disclaim warranties of fitness for a particular purpose to the maximum extent permitted by law.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes will be heard in the courts of England and Wales, save that consumer protection rights of EU/EEA residents are not affected.
